There are a couple rough ones in the middle (I didn't like Faith of the Fallen and Pillars of Creation was only okay) and at the end they tend to be pretty long winded and pedantic. Still, if you can get through the middle ones, the series picks back up until the end. I think their greatest strength is the transitions between books. They usually pick up literally the next second after the previous book, and (unlike most long fantasy series) there always seems to be a new danger that is just as bad as the previous danger but somehow without trivializing the previous danger. Like, most series by the end the heroes are routinely dispatching whatever the big baddies were in the first book.erith1https://www.blogger.com/profile/05743259841253963301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671542211744425350.post-58066945088043956052008-05-25T18:11:00.000-07:002008-05-25T18:11:00.000-07:00Which version did you watch, as the original didn'...Which version did you watch, as the original didn't really have any special FX of which to speak, the recent version on DVD had new ILM FX added to it though.Andrew Glazebrookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10561008286443964427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671542211744425350.post-73547347801275508682008-05-18T19:43:00.000-07:002008-05-18T19:43:00.000-07:00Ugh.The fact that they ripped off the final shot o...Ugh.
The fact that they ripped off the final shot of 'Crouching Tiger' continues to bother me.

I don't think I'll get over that.Vapeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07252612365529841323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671542211744425350.post-6668801588382930322008-05-06T22:06:00.000-07:002008-05-06T22:06:00.000-07:00"Next time, baby.""Next time, baby."Vapeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07252612365529841323noreply@blogger.com
